Tiwa Savage Retires From Mavin Records, Signs Exclusive Global Deal With Universal Music Group

CEO, Mavin Records, Don Jazzy (Michael Collins Ajereh), has released Tiwa Savage to proceed onto the next level of her career, according to their mutual reasoning.

Tiwa Savage has been with the Record Label for seven years. During this time, she has been managed by Don Jazzy to becoming a name to reckon with globally; from hit songs, endorsement deals, performing on world recognised stages, winning local and international awards.
The cordial relationship with her previous label still exist, but it was just about time she felt the need to redirect the course of her life, and this came with no issues with the management of her former label. Her previous management has released her into her future with appreciation for the time she was at the label.

"Our darling Tiwatope. We at Mavin would like to say a very big thank you for being such an inspiration to all of us, a friend, a sister. It’s been an epic journey with you and we are very proud of what we have achieved together. As you start this new chapter in your life we want you to know that we are solidly behind you and can’t wait for the world to see what we have always believed you can be. Your jersey as the First Lady of Mavin will forever be yours as we do not intend to fill that position with anyone else. We love you from the bottom of heart and pray GOD’s blessings continue to follow you. Amennnn." - DonJazzy

Tiwa commented with so much gratitude and appreciation saying:
