The Elegushi of Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom, King Saheed Ademola Elegushi has taken a second wife today, in Kano state, Nigeria.
The new bride is identified as Hadiza Tanko. She is the younger sister of the special adviser to Kano State Governor, Nigeria, Salihu Tanko Yakasai. The governor is Dr. Umaru Ganduje.
The king is still married to his first wife, queen Sekinat Aramide Elegushi despite taking a second wife.
King Saheed and queen Sekinat have been married for over a decade. They met when they were both in school. Their union has produced three beautiful daughters.
