Former President, Robert Mugabe Broke? Gushungo Dairy Assets Scheduled For Auction

Former Zimbabwe President, Mr. Robert Mugabe's farm assets are listed on an auctioning company's advert to sell off many vehicles and tractors at his  Gushungo Dairy estate in Mazowe. Over fifty heavy duty vehicles and tractors are enlisted to be auctioned come 11 May 2019.

President Mugabe who ruled Zimbabwe for thirty-seven years before getting ousted by his former vice-President, Mr. Emmerson Mnangagwa in a coup, after his dismissal by Mr. Robert Mugabe, is know to acquire more wealth not auction his properties. Some are speculating that he is not financially sufficient at the moment. It seems unimaginable that such a wealthy family is broke.
This comes after the news by current President, Mr. Emmerson Mnangagwa announced that, Zimbabwe Government will start compensating white farmers for their assets lost when the farms they ran where collected back under the Mugabe regime. If going as planned, the registration of the farmers who qualified should have been completed as at the end of April, and payments commenced.

Up until Mugabe was retrenched, Gushungo Dairy farm, managed by his wife, Grace Mugabe, was a very lucrative business for the family amongst many other farms and businesses he owned.

The advert by Ruby Auctions Services says,
"Duly instructed by our most valued client we shall sell by public auction the following vehicles and farm equipment at Gushungo Dairy Farm on Saturday 11th May 2019 at 10 am."

The assets which are categorised into motor vehicles, tractors and accessories are about twenty-nine motor vehicles and about 25 tractors/accessories.
