Benson Efeotor Gets A Car For Returning Huge Sum Mistakenly Paid Into His Account

A honest gesture of a noble man has paid off with a Toyota, recognition and in the good books of the federal government under the watch of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.

Mr. Benson Efeotor, a Nigerian civil servant working with the Delta State Ministry of Finance (Project E-Delta), has returned the sum of approximately one hundred and forty seven thousand USD. The money was recently paid mistakenly, into his bank account by the state government.

Efeotor explains in an interview that he returned the money because he is not that wealthy and had to just return the money since it isn't his. He further said that withholding the money and not returning it to the government, equates stealing.

For his honesty, he was rewarded with a brand new Toyota car, courtesy of the Delta State government. The recognition took place on worker's day.
