Wendy Williams' Ex-Husband, Kevin Hunter Suspected Of Poisoning Her

An anonymous phone call was made in January of this year to the police from someone that only revealed an identity as a worker for Wendy’s production company.

The caller claimed to believe that Kevin Hunter was giving Wendy something harmful, and wanted authorities to check on her. This information prompted police to perform a welfare check for Wendy Williams.
Two officers visited her New Jersey home where Kevin received them. According to police report, he was first hesitant to let them inside the home because he said Wendy was sick and recovering from a health problem.

Police explained that they needed to speak with her due to the anonymous complaint. They eventually spoke to Wendy who was in bed and under the covers at the time. They spoke with her and asked if there was any truth to the claims and she reportedly responded: “Well, I’m very popular.” When the cop repeated the question, the report says she became tearful but denied there was any truth to it.

Police left after she confirmed to them once again that she was okay.

Earlier this year Wendy was on an extensive break from her show as she recovered from health issues. She officially returned to her show at the beginning of March, 2019.

Since then, Wendy has filed for divorce from Kevin Hunter following cheating rumors. Kevin has also been removed from 'The Wendy Williams show as an executive producer.
