#Homecoming: Beyonce Release Netflix Special, Michelle Obama Thank Beyonce For Citing Greats Among Other Positive Reviews

Michelle Obama took to her Twitter to thank Beyoncé for her attention to detail in the #Homecoming script, spotlighting the "Black leaders, thinkers and poets who paved the way for folks like us" in her #Homecoming documentary.

The people referenced include Nina Simone, Toni Morrison, Malcolm X and Maya Angelou.



The Netflix special has received great positive reviews for its brilliance. The work radiates hard core commitment and her great professionalism. The project can be likened to a reality film consisting of an interesting mix of concert and documentary.

#Homecoming can be summarised as a concert film about American singer Beyoncé and her performance at the 2018 Coachella valley music and arts festival.


Beyonce took to the stage on April 14, 2018 at Coachella to deliver an historical twenty-seven-song performance that acted as a celebration of black culture. She did put people of colour on the map on that day and till this day, that iconic movement is still felt.
