Bus Accident Transporting Fifty-Five People Crashes, Twenty-Nine German Tourists Dead

Twenty-nine German tourists have died after a coach rolled off a road in the hotel district on the Portuguese holiday island of Madeira.

The bus accident carrying fifty-five passengers have recorded twenty-nine deaths - 12 men and 17 women. These individuals happen to be German tourists. Twenty-two others were injured including driver and tour guide. The tourists were said to be on their way for a meal when the unfortunate incident happened.
The coach rolled off a road, and crashed on the top of a house, in the hotel district on the Portuguese holiday island of Madeira near the town of Canico. Leading events to the driver loosing control and coach rolling off is unknown.

Emergency workers were alerted who helped contain the situation.

German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said he would fly to Madeira on Thursday with a team of doctors, psychologists and consular officials to meet those affected and thank Portugal for its help.
