Nollywood actors and actresses of recent, have been making comments to the effect that there is unhealthy competition and resentments towards each other.
Tonto Dikeh was a guest on Plus TV Africa and during her interview was asked about the allegations of fake love in the Nigerian entertainment industry, Tonto responded saying:
"We are all fighting for the same thing. It is a cycle, we share the same men, same clothes, same movie. So why would you want to be friends with someone who wants your life?”These cycle of events, according to her, are the underlying causes of resentments in Nollywood and Nigerian entertainment industry at large.
