The One Africa Music Fest November 2019 concert held yesterday in Dubai was the show to be at. Dubai should also feel the tourists influx as celebs and creme de la creme, particularly West and East African celebrities and artists graced the occasion.
The seasonal show organised by Nigerian owned brand Interswitch One Africa Music Fest lead by Mr. Paul O can be described as a destination concert of superb African artists. The show has been hosted in countries as United Kingdom, New York. Dubai being the host country for this season's event.
Some of the African stars that performed are Jah Prayzah, Teni, Wiz kid, Diamond Platinumz, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, Davido, King Promise, Eddy Kenzo, Souhila, The Ben, 2Baba, Vanessa Mdee, dj Cuppy, Dj Obi, Dj Xclusive and others. The show was hosted by Banky W.
The event started two days back with a Global summit, followed by a white themed party same night. The music concert was held yesterday and an after party is scheduled for tonight.
Some critics have raised concerns as to why a show tagged One Africa Music Fest should hold in other continents asides Africa. But the show is trying to carve a niche for herself as a destination concert and any country can be picked within and outside Africa. More like Africa to the world. Not a bad initiative in my opinion.
Coincidentally, BamBam and Teddy A also arranged their wedding for today in Dubia. (Heard her dress is extraordinarily gorgeous and the ceremony is planned to be the talk of town.)
