Soap Legend And '90210' Star Jed Allan Dies


Jed Allan, a notable member of the "Beverly Hills, 90210" family and soapy legend has died at 84 years old. His son, Rick Brown broke the news.

Rick Brown posted the sad news on his deceased father's official Facebook fan page on Saturday, saying Jed passed away peacefully while surrounded by family.

Jed Allan played as Rush Sanders on '90210' as the father of Ian Zeiring as Steve Sanders in the soap opera.

Jed Allan also famously played roles in soaps like "Days of Our Lives," in which he played Don Craig, as well as the TV series "Santa Barbara," where he played C.C. Capwell. He had a very prolific career spanning 6 decades, having appeared on shows like "Lassie," "Columbo," "Adam-12," "Love, American Style," "CHiPs" and many, many others.

Jed had 64 acting credits to his name.

He is survived by three sons from his late wife Toby Brown.
