In a case treated as homicide, police are searching for a gunman who murdered Bettie Jenifer, by a gunshot to the head, after firing numerous shots, in the parking lot of her Maryland office premises on Friday, 10 May 2019.

She had left the office at about 5pm, located at 6301 Ivy Lane, Greenbelt towards her car, when the armed man approached her, the Greenbelt police reports.
