The fashion world lost one of her pacesetters, Chanel mogul Karl Lagerfeld.
The 85-year-old designer died on February 19, 2019 after a period of ill health that spanned several weeks.
He missed two Chanel shows in Paris on January 22, 2019 - his first ever in the history of his three-decade reign at the iconic fashion house.
After the second show, the company issued a statement explaining he had been feeling tired.
"Mr Lagerfeld, artistic director of Chanel, who was feeling tired, asked Virginie Viard, director of the creative studio of the house, to represent him," a statement from Chanel read.
However, sources close to the star say he was rushed to hospital amid a secret battle with pancreatic cancer.
