Prophet Bushiri Under Attack For Death Of Church Members

Yesterday, an angry mob stormed the Pretoria show grounds in South Africa to protest against famous preacher, Prophet Shepherd Huxley Bushiri, also known as Major 1.

He is the general overseer of Enlightened Christian Gathering Church  (E.C.G). He has been under so many criticism for the unbelieveable miracles he performs which he gives credit to God for.

This time the criticism has gotten more intense than ever after the death of three church members in a stampede at the church last Friday, 28 December 2018. Each  time a service is held at the ministry, it attracts enormous crowds.

The angry protesters blocked the entrance into the church preventing members from gaining access to attend a service scheduled for the evening. They requested to have a direct conversation with the Prophet before they can be dissolved. And ofcourse we know it would not go as easy as it sounds if he had appeared.

Community members have used the opportunity to voice their minds that they want the Malawian immigrant to leave their area and the church closed down as a whole.

Should the Prophet be blamed for the stampede leading to the deaths? In my opinion, given the event, do not think so. Even at stadiums these things happen when there are excessively large crowds. If there is more to this you can leave a comment.

South Africa Twitter has been going agog with regards this matter. Some tweets below.
