It is making waves that Davido has traditionally married Chioma Avril Rowland (Chefchi) in a quiet ceremony, hosting few family and friends.
Davido has proven his nobility yet again, if this is true. The news first broke out on Gistlover, that David Adeleke has decided to legalize his celebritized love with Chefchi. This is following the loss of their son, Ifeanyi. Ifeanyi's death was announced on 31 October, 2022.
Truly, many had concerns, and others joy, that the relationship might end, after the binding child deceased in an unfortunate drowning incident at their luxurious mansion, Banana Island, Lagos.
It is alleged that, Chioma made a mention to the fact that the child who seemingly bonded them was deceased, and her special place in the singer's life had ended.
Davido apparently decided to take the initiative of marrying her, to assure that the love they share is beyond such unfortunate circumstances, and that she is truly his life partner.
The report alleges that, her bride price has been paid in full on 6 November 2022, and a registry marking will hold during the same month. It is of notable mention that, they were said to have in plans, a glamorous wedding celebration in 2023, but consoling Chioma with this assurance had to happen sooner. A bigger wedding party might still hold then because, the couple are still in mourning stage, and these current marital events have no joyful party vibes to them.
To all those who might have something silly to say about the couple tying the knot in this trying times, "Shushhhh" for life. This is such an applaudable move, if you decide to see things from an unmalicious, unenvious perspective.
